Where to go in Huahin with car renting service and a personal driver

Huahin is a small beach town near Bangkok. If you are a beach lover but do not like busy beach life in Pattaya, Huahin could be the answer you are looking for. Huahin is in Prachuap Khiri Khan province and takes around 2.30 – 3 hours by car from Bangkok. This small town has everything you are looking for, from luxury hotels to guest houses, restaurants with beach views to local tasty food places, malls to street markets and of course tasty seafood. You can rent a car with a local driver who is a local, so he can show you these places recommended by locals.

  1. Huahin beach

Huahin beach is one of the top places locals love to come during holidays as the beach is pretty quiet, clean and there are many hotels just right next to the beach where you can sit and enjoy the sunset and sounds of the waves. The beach is long, around 13 kilometers. Locals offer an activity for tourists to ride a small horse along the beach if you want to. The sea is pretty clean and the waves are not so strong so you can enjoy swimming here.

If you are keen on street food, check out Huahin night market. Here there are plenty of food stalls to offer you cheap and tasty local food. Unlike other street markets, here also has grilled seafood shops to offer tasty menus created from Thai ingredients waiting to serve you.

  1. Phraya Nakhon Cave at Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park

This cave is situated in Sam Roi Yot city which is far from Huahin city, around one hour by car. You can get to the national park by local boat or walk around 30 mins. Once you are in the national park, it takes only 430 meters to get into the cave. The special thing about this cave is that there is a Kuhakaruhat mansion which was built since the King no. 5 visited here in the past. When the light is shining down to the cave where this mansion is one of the most beautiful and rare things to see.

Here are interesting places to visit when you have a chance to go to Huahin. After enjoying the beach you can visit the local market, try Thai seafood menu and buy some Thai souvenirs back. Apart from that you can also have some adventure time at Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park and aim for a stunning view of Phraya Nakhon Cave.
